Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Support project team to apply duty exemption and pull in all equipment in time, co-ordinate project equipment pre-shipment inspection and on-site inspection
- Import and export daily operation: prepare declaration documents, arrange duty/vat/deposit payment, push for on time delivery, coordinate with warehouse/end user for receiving, deposit return follow-up, declaration documents filing and management, etc
- Make sure import/export materials are declared and delivered accurately and timely
- Forwarder and broker daily operation management, including KPI review, freight payment request, and quotation maintain, etc.
- Join GSM QBR and support e-bidding
- Monthly billing double check and payment arrangement
- Monthly reports to Finance/GSM/PEX/Trade compliance
- Maintain customs/CIQ relationship and make sure all certificates are updated in time
- Bonded equipment management
- 3C waiver imported spare parts management
- Cargo damage claim and insurance process follow-up
- Arrange and process whole inbound process for raw materials, trading finished goods and spare parts, including shipping arrangement, tracking, import customs clearance, documentation preparation, collection and retention.
- Arrange and process outbound and domestic shipments, including shipping documents preparation, collection and retention.
- Other task assigned by supervisor.
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing plant, Logistics or Supply Chain function with rich import/export operation experience, or forwarder(broker) firms is preferred
- Bachelor or above, major in international trade or related field is preferred
- Equipment duty exemption application experience
- Customs handbook operation experience
Required Skills
- China Customs/Logistic certificate or related knowledge
- Familiar with customs and CIQ regulations on import/export/process trade/duty exemption
- Be good at office software, such as Excel, Word, Power Point
- Fluent in English writing, reading and speaking
- Good team work and ownership
- Able to work independently, detail oriented
Desired Skills
- ERP system skill is preferred
- Ability to plan, organize and set priorities for self
- Be able to interpret Customs regulations into practical operation
- Fluency in written English
